Here are a few favorite ways of mine to incorporate oats into your daily routine:

Ayurvedic Apple Bowl — a favorite in my household, this easy to make breakfast bowl is so quick & easy and incorporates super healthy ingredients such as flax seed, ginger, curcuma, and yes, the mighty oat. Plus, the spices makes your kitchen smell amazing! Get the recipe here.

Hormone Healthy Super Seed Muesli — another simple recipe that incorporates oats with seeds, nuts and healthy fats. This one is from my teacher, Dr. Aviva Romm, and can be found on her website.

Oat Straw Tea — Add 1 tsp to boiling water, cover, infuse 10 min. & ENJOY the SERENITY. Helps to soothe nervous exhaustion, grief, and hormonal balance.

Soothing Oat Bath — Place a handful of rolled oats into a small muslim bag or sock and hang under the bathtub faucet while letting warm water run through it. Optional: add 5-7 drops lavender essential oil for even more relaxing vibes and add a cup of Epsom salts to help detoxify and for mineral absorption. The oats will make your skin silky smooth. Also, great for itchy and dry conditions such as eczema. Remember to moisturize directly afterwards (while skin is still moist) to seal in the benefits.
